You'll find us just outside (but well within walking distance of) Marlow town centre on the A4155. This fact, coupled with our own car park, makes us one of the best places in the area to meet up with friends and just enjoy some good traditional food and some rather excellent wine.

Our thoughts on food...
Good food starts with good ingredients (and we only enjoy cooking good food). That's one of the reasons why our bread is always homemade, our chickens and eggs are all free-range, our veg is grown locally wherever possible (often in our own kitchen garden) and our meat is only ever sourced from the best local suppliers.

And because all of our suppliers are local, we know them personally, we know their sources, and we know we can trust them to only every supply us with the best.

The best news of all is that we've found that sourcing everything locally actually costs us less. In turn, this means that we think that we've managed to make our menus amazing value for money.

Our passion for beer...
Of course, being a country pub, we're as passionate about our beer as we are about our food. In fact, our passion reached a new level last summer when we began brewing our own unique, 100% exclusive beer. Called Hare of the Dog, this (extremely) local real ale has enjoyed an excellent first year, and has recently grown from 3.5% to a mature 4.3%.

We're Back
The BBC have finished filming and we're back at The Hare & Hounds. Our new kitchen team has been using the time off to scour the local area for the freshest local produce.

And we've discovered that, when you source your ingredients locally, you can actually save money - making our new menus the best value, as well as the best tasting.
